The Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP) Fleet Logistics Center Puget Sound (FLCPS) is conducting market research to determine the availability and capability of qualified sources that can provide replacement parts for the Curtiss-Wright Stern Gate Hydraulic Assembly installed aboard U.S. Navy amphibious ships. Requirement The Government anticipates procuring various replacement components for the Curtiss-Wright Stern Gate Hydraulic Assembly. These components are required to support depot-level maintenance and restoration of the stern gate hydraulic system. Salient Characteristics Interested vendors shall demonstrate their capability to provide replacement parts that: Are fully compatible with the existing Curtiss-Wright Stern Gate Hydraulic Assembly. Meet all original equipment manufacturer (OEM) performance, dimensional, material, fit, form, and function requirements. Are manufactured in accordance with the applicable Curtiss-Wright drawings and specifications or are otherwise authorized by Curtiss-Wright to manufacture or distribute the required parts. Maintain the operational integrity and safety of the existing hydraulic system. Background The Stern Gate Hydraulic Assembly is a mission-critical shipboard system used to operate the stern gate on Navy amphibious vessels. Historical information indicates that Curtiss-Wright is the original designer, developer, and manufacturer of this hydraulic assembly and maintains the proprietary engineering drawings associated with these components.
