Salient Characteristics Interested vendors shall demonstrate their capability to provide replacement parts that: Are fully compatible with the existing Curtiss-Wright Stern Gate Hydraulic Assembly. Meet all original equipment manufacturer (OEM) performance, dimensional, material, fit, form, and function requirements. Are manufactured in accordance with the applicable Curtiss-Wright drawings and specifications or are otherwise authorized by Curtiss-Wright to manufacture or distribute the required parts. Maintain the operational integrity and safety of the existing hydraulic system. Background The Stern Gate Hydraulic Assembly is a mission-critical shipboard system used to operate the stern gate on Navy amphibious vessels. Historical information indicates that Curtiss-Wright is the original designer, developer, and manufacturer of this hydraulic assembly and maintains the proprietary engineering drawings associated with these components. The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice is to determine whether other qualified manufacturers or authorized distributors possess the technical capability, manufacturing rights, engineering data, and quality controls necessary to provide these replacement components.
