This is a solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; offers are being requested, and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is being issued as a request for quote. The United States Coast Guard is seeking a qualified mechanical contractor to furnish all labor, supervision, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, and incidentals necessary to replace failed refrigeration compressors and restore two existing air handling units (AH-1 and AH-2) to full operational service. The objective of this project is to safely replace the failed compressors, verify the integrity of each refrigeration system, eliminate any refrigerant contamination, and return both air handling units to reliable operating condition in accordance with manufacturer recommendations, applicable building codes, EPA regulations, and industry best practices. Provisions and clauses incorporated into this solicitation are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2026-01 dated 13 March 2026. This is a small business set aside .
