Performance Work Statement (PWS) 2.1 Requirements (1 each) Series 60 MTU Port Engine Cylinder Head Replacement NSN: 2895-01-590-73017 S/N: 06R1060712 2.2 Description of Services A commercial diesel technician experienced in the overhaul and repair of the USCG Series 60 engines used on the 45' Response Boat Medium shall provide labor and consumable parts to perform the repair of the Port engine for hull# 45603. The technician shall provide the required credentials to access the US Government facility. Certified MTU/Detroit Diesel Technicians Only: All technicians must have completed extensive, official MTU training and be certified to perform work on the specified engine series. The use of a non-MTU/Detroit Dealer technician for this service will have a negative impact on the Coast Guard due to the special tooling and technician certification required to perform this service. 2.3 Specific Tasks Drain the coolant from the engine.
