This is a PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE only and does not constitute a solicitation; accordingly, no response is due at this time. PROJECT SCOPE: The National Park Service - Contracting Operations - East Team (ConOps-East) is seeking one (1) contractor to provide all labor, supervision, materials, tools, supplies, transportation, personal protection equipment, and support equipment incidental for the installation of a geothermal HVAC system at the historic, two-story wood-framed Jackson Shrine Death site located in Fredericksburg and Spotsylvania National Military Park (FRSP). Work includes but is not limited to; minor architectural modifications to accommodate mechanical penetrations; demolition of existing mechanical equipment and ductwork, installation of new water source heat pump and associated equipment and ductwork; minor electrical modifications to support new HVAC system; boring and installation of ground heat exchangers; additional site utility installation; and vegetation restoration at areas of disturbance. PLACE OF PERFORMANCE: Fredericksburg and Spotsylvania National Military Park (FRSP), Woodford, Virgina ESTIMATED MAGNITUDE OF CONSTRUCTION: In accordance with FAR 36.204, the project magnitude is estimated to be between $250,000 and $500,000. PROCUREMENT TYPE: The Government anticipates awarding a single firm-fixed price contract award from the solicitation. The Source Selection will be conducted under FAR Part 15.101-2 Lowest Price Technically Acceptable Source Selection Process. SET-ASIDE: This acquisition will be a 100% Historically Underutilized Business (HUBZone) Set-Aside. Offers will only be accepted from HUBZone.
