PROJECT DESCRIPTION: This Design-Bid-Build construction project aims to provide repairs to the failed stormwater and sanitary sewer systems at the Miotto Military Installation to achieve environmental compliance and prevent future flood damage. The core of this project involves repairing, upsizing, and decoupling the cross-connected sewer systems to ensure proper independent discharge and full compliance with environmental regulations. The scope of work involves complete construction, repair, and site remediation. Key elements of construction include: repairing, extending, and upsizing the failed stormwater system piping to meet technical capacity standards; remediating site conditions associated with recent storm events, specifically repairing severe flooding, soil erosion, and landslide vulnerabilities; and separating the cross-connected sanitary and storm lines.
