General System Functionality Must be a comprehensive nuclear medicine measurement system capable of performing thyroid uptake measurements, wipe tests, bioassay measurements, and automated quality assurance functions. Must include a software-driven workflow that supports predefined protocols and customizable measurement sequences. 2. User Interface & Computer Requirements Must utilize a color touch screen user interface with a large-format display (minimum 20 inches for visibility during procedures). Must operate on the current, widely supported Windows OS platform. Must support generation of reports containing graphics, isotope spectra, and archived data, with ability to save or print reports in PDF format. 3. Detector & Measurement Specifications Thyroid Uptake Detector Must utilize a NaI(Tl) scintillation detector capable of precise uptake measurements. (Spec: 2 inch diameter NaI(Tl).) Must include a collimator meeting recognized nuclear medicine performance standards (e.g., ANSI or IAEA). Must include a physical measurement/alignment mechanism to ensure consistent detector to thyroid distance. Multichannel Analyzer (MCA) Must include an MCA with a minimum of 1024 channels.
