The Biological Technologies Office (BTO) of the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) seeks to solicit input from industry, academia, government laboratories, and nontraditional performers regarding the most advanced methods to rapidly stabilize and/or repurpose large volumes of petroleum products, for example petroleum abandoned within above ground or underground storage tanks.
