NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. This is a notice of intent to solicit and award a sole source contract set forth in accordance with the Revolutionary FAR Overhaul (RFO) Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR)12.102(a), Restricting competition. The Department of Veteran Affairs, Veterans Health Administration, Network Contracting Office 12 (NCO-12) Great Lakes Acquisition Center, intends to negotiate a sole source Firm-Fixed Price, one-time purchase/one-time delivery contract to Sun Nuclear Corporation: 3275 Suntree Blvd, Melbourne, FL 32940 USA.IAW Federal Acquisition Regulation/Revolutionary FAR Overhaul 12.102. This is for procurement of the Sun Nuclear Daily QA 4 Pro Checker for the Medical Specialty Department located at Clement J Zablocki Veterans Affairs Medical Center: 5000 W National Ave, Milwaukee, WI 53295. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this requirement is, 334519 - Other Measuring and Controlling Device Manufacturing. The Product of Service Code for this requirement is 6515 - Medical and Surgical Instruments, Equipment, and Supplies. The Small Business Administration (SBA) size standard for this sector is 600 employees. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses received to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no written response is received within the closing date of this notice, a sole source award will be made to Sun Nuclear Corp. without any further notice.
