This requirement is a BRAND NAME MANDATORY solicitation to the Original Equipment Manufacturer (JUKI) due to the fact that this equipment uses highly specialized, proprietary and custom tooling to complete the stitching on large custom applications. PNS owns several JUKI brand units, and maintains an inventory of replacement parts and components for Juki sewing machines. This tooling may not be used on another manufacturer's equipment. Quotations received that represent a different manufacturer will not be considered for award. Offerors are required to submit descriptive literature to show how their quotation meets the required specifications.
