This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Revolutionary FAR Overhaul (RFO) Part 12, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested, and a written solicitation will not be issued. The US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC) Geotechnical and Structures Laboratory (GSL) in Vicksburg, MS intends to award as a simplified acquisition. The solicitation is being issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) with the intent to award as a simplified acquisition. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2026-01. This requirement is set aside 100% small business under NAICS Code 331210, Iron and Steel Pipe and Tube Manufacturing from Purchased Steel, with a size standard of 1,000 employees. This procurement is being conducted in accordance with regulation at RFO Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Products and Commercial Services. Please see attached Description of Requirement (DOR).
