Description
The purpose of this amendment is to provide Questions and Answers: Question 1: Could the PI share the target region info or reference article so we can take a look? If default primers like 16S, ITS, or 18S are acceptable, that's fine; otherwise, we will need the PCR cycle conditions. Answer 1: The assay is not published yet and so I can¿t share the details until the vendor is selected. Question 2: The RFQ lists both CLIN 00010 and CLIN 00040 as ¿Metabarcoding Analyses¿ in accordance with Attachment 1. Can you clarify the intended distinction between CLIN 00010 and CLIN 00040, including whether they should be priced separately, whether they represent different assay/sample types, or whether one is an option/additional quantity? Answer 2: CLIN 00010 and 00040 are for the same type of analyses, just for different funding accounts. The U.S. Geological Survey, Conservation Genetics Lab, Wetlands and Aquatic Research Center in Gainesville, FL, requires genomic services of molecular library preparations and next generation sequencing with specialized bioinformatics as described in Attachment 1 statement of work.
