Purchase and install of wall-attached telescopic bleacher system and removal of existing bleachersview on SAM.gov

Amendment to solictation FA813626Q0011: This solicitation is hereby amended to revise the product description from brand-name-only requirement to brand-name-or-equal requirement. 1. Products other than the specified brand name may be offered provided the proposed product meets or exceeds all stated salient physical. functional, and performance charachteristics outlined in the updated Statement of Work (SOW). Offerors proposing an equal product must identify the manufacturer of proposed product and shall provide suffient descriptive literature, specifications and other technical information neccessary for the Governmenrt to determine whether the proposed product meets the stated requirements. 2. The previously posted Statement of Need (SON) has been replaced by the Statement of Work (SOW). The SOW is amended to revise the Government's requirements from brand-name to brand-name or equal. The revision permits products manufactured by sources other than the originally specified manufacturer, provided the proposed product satisfies the Government's stated minimum requirements. 3. The previously applicable Brand Name Justification, supporting the brand-name-only requirement identified in the original solicitation is no longer applicable due to the revision of the governements requirement, and that document has therefore been removed from this solicitation. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________ The response deadline for this solicitation is 14 September 2026 at 2:00 PM CST. Purchase is required to satisfy Youth Center seating- • The current bleachers were installed 25 years ago and have reached the end of their service life. Replacement is necessary to ensure continued safety, reliability for all Youth Center spectators. The vendor will provide MAXAM telescopic bleachers manufactured by Hussey Seating Company, or equivelant , that will perform full installation of the system. The scope of work includes demolition and removal of the existing bleacher system. The new bleachers will be attached to the wall and designed to retract to extend maximum available floor space.
