RFQ For Duty Pistols for Mounted Patrol Inspectorsview on SAM.gov

This requirement supports the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS), Veterinary Services (VS), Cattle Fever Tick Eradication Program (CFTEP). Veterinary Services serves as the Nation's veterinary authority, safeguarding animal health and supporting the safety and availability of animals, animal products, and veterinary biologics. CFTEP has worked to eradicate cattle fever ticks since 1906. Recently, infestations have increased significantly. These ticks transmit bovine babesiosis (cattle fever), a disease historically responsible for substantial economic losses within the U.S. cattle industry.
