Under Statutory Authority 41 U.S.C. 1901 the VA Great Lakes Acquisition Center (GLAC) intends to negotiate a sole source contract with STRYKER CORPORATION. The Contractor shall provide preventative maintenance and repair services for the Stryker scope equipment as stated in the Statement of Work (SOW) for the William S. Middleton Memorial Veterans Hospital, 2500 Overlook Terrace, Madison, WI 53705. This acquisition is conducted under the authority of 41 U.S.C. 1901 Simplified acquisition procedures as implemented in FAR 13.106-1 only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This will be a firm fixed price contract for a base plus (4) four option year contract. The NAICS Code is 811210. This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive quotes. No solicitation documents are available and telephone requests will not be honored. Middleton Memorial Veterans Hospital, located at 2500 Overlook Terrace, Madison, WI 53705, hereinafter referred to as the Madison VA, requires maintenance and repair services for the Stryker Scope equipment listed in Table 1 below. Scope: The Madison VA requires a qualified contractor to provide preventative maintenance and on-demand repair services for the specified components of Stryker's 1788 AIM 4K PLATFORM, as detailed in Table 1. The contractor must supply trained technicians to ensure prompt equipment uptime and utilize OEM-certified parts and preventative maintenance procedures.
