INTRODUCTION : The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) at Patuxent River, MD announces its intention to award a 5-Year Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) to support ALE-70, ALE-55/EFC/DBD, and ALE-47 systems. The BOA will include but is not limited to, support of all variants of the ALE-70 Radio Frequency (RF) Countermeasure; support of the repair, field, and technical support of T-1622/ALE-55 (V) Fiber Optic Towed Decoy (FOTD) Rounds and CV-4334 and CVV-4334A/ALE-55 (V) Electronic Frequency Converter (EFC); support of Strike DBD/Production; procurement of AN/ALE-47 Countermeasures Dispensing System (CMDS) Weapon Replaceable Assemblies (WRAs) including: Sequencer (Common Carriage), Digital Sequencer (DSQCR) (Legacy), Dispenser Assembly (Common Carriage), and Digital Cockpit Display Unit (DCDU) (Part Number 186482-0001), as well as associated support equipment such as the AN/ALM-288 Countermeasures Dispenser Test Set, spares, repairs, and engineering support services. It is a market research tool being used to determine potential and eligible businesses capable of providing the services described herein prior to determining the method of acquisition and issuance of a Request for Proposal. ELIGIBILITY : The Product/Service Code (PSC) most appropriate for this contract is 5865 - Electronic Countermeasures, Counter-Countermeasures and Quick Reaction Capability Equipment. A DD Form 254 Contract Security Classification Specification shall apply to this requirement, and the prime contractor shall have or demonstrate ability to obtain a “Top Secret” Facility Clearance.
