GENERAL INFORMATION Title: Skin commensal sequencing Background Information: The laboratory of Julie Segre (TFGB/MGS) studies the human skin microbiome. The lab prepares skin commensal organisms from human skin and sequences their genomes for strain sharing studies. We propose to send Seqcoast commensal organisms from human skin to extract and sequence greatly eliminating key workflow steps and ensuring cost saving methods for obtaining data needed for ongoing research studies..
