The Government is conducting market research to identify potential sources capable of providing repair, manufacturing, sustaining engineering, software support, program management, and related services for the AN/GSM-397 Electronic Systems Test Set (ESTS) and associated components supporting the F-15 aircraft. The Contractor shall furnish all material, support equipment, tooling, software, test equipment, engineering support, and services required to perform this effort. FAR 52.215-3 — REQUEST FOR INFORMATION The Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this RFI or to otherwise pay for the information solicited except as an allowable cost under other contracts as provided in subsection 31.205-18, Bid and proposal costs, of the Federal Acquisition Regulation. Although “proposal” and “offeror” are used in this RFI, your response will be treated as information only. It shall not be used as a proposal. This RFI is issued for the purpose of market research in an attempt to overcome barriers to competition. Responses should include sufficient detail for the Government to assess: Technical capability Relevant experience Production capacity Engineering capability Proprietary data access approach Software sustainment capability Test equipment capability Program management capability Generic marketing material is discouraged unless directly relevant to the requirements described herein.
