GENERAL INFORMATION Title: Acquisition of a Bio-Rad ChemiDoc Imaging System for the Genitourinary Malignancies Branch (NCI/CCR/GMB) Background Information: The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), National Institutes of Health (NIH), National Cancer Institute (NCI), Center for Cancer Research (CCR), Genitourinary Malignancies Branch (GMB) requires the procurement of a Bio-Rad ChemiDoc Go Imaging System to support prostate cancer research. The GMB laboratories currently rely on the imaging system for visualization of chemiluminescent western blots and agarose gels. This system is no longer functional due to failure of the UV illumination drawer, and the manufacturer has discontinued support, making repair impossible.
