SOLE SOURCE PROCUREMENT- The proposed contract action is for these services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with one source only General Dynamics Mission Systems. Inc of Scottsdale, Arizona, Cage Code 1VPW, under the authority of FAR 13.101(b) for Non-Commercial items using Simplified Acquisition Procedures. This is being solicited on a sole source only basis because The test asset is a required piece of equipment for verifying the function of the Digital Receiver/Exciters (DREX) Line Replaceable Unit (LRUs) Auxiliary Power control car, Dual Channel Converter, and Multi-Band Frequency Synthesizer. When the RMA STE was purchased, through another contract vehicle, the service, set-up, and training, for the equipment was not included.
