Synopsis & Core Requirement The Government seeks prototype solutions for a Biological Containment Isolation System (BCIS) under the authority of 10 U.S.C. § 4022, Other Transaction Authority (OTA). The objective is to acquire a modular, field-installable kit to convert the existing USAF TMT60 positive-pressure tent shelter into a negative-pressure, multi-patient isolation system for managing patients with High Consequence Infectious Diseases (HCID). At a minimum, proposed solutions must be able to meet the following critical threshold requirements: Negative Pressure: -2.5 Pa (≈ -0.01 in. w.g.) differential Air Exchange: ≥12 Air Changes per Hour (ACH) Filtration: 99.97% efficiency for 0.3-micron particles Compatibility: Must integrate with and be reversible for the standard TMT60 tent system 1.2 Notice of On-Site Equipment Viewing To assist vendors in preparing their Responses to this Solicitation (RSPs), the Government has scheduled an on-site equipment viewing of the TMT60 shelter at Fort Detrick, MD.
