Presolicitation Notice Onsite & On-Call Interventional Radiology Physician Services James J. Peters VA Medical Center This requirement is being solicited under the authority of 38 U.S.C. 8153 and VAAR 873. Network Contracting Office 2 (NCO2), on behalf of the James J. Peters VA Medical Center (JJP VAMC) in the Bronx, NY, has a need for one Full-Time Equivalent (1.0 FTE) interventional radiology (IR) physician to provide onsite and on-call nonpersonal healthcare services to eligible beneficiaries of the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). The VA is anticipating procurement of these services from a contractor that can propose a minimum of four (4) board certified/board eligible IR physicians as key personnel to be credentialed & available for scheduling with JJP VAMC. The VA Radiology Services (and are accredited by ACR for Mammography) follow the standards of Abdominal/GU, Breast Imaging, Cardiovascular, General, Interventional, Musculoskeletal, Neuroradiology & guidelines set forth by American College of Radiology (ACR). A contractor providing IR services shall provide services that meet or exceed the American College of Radiology Guidelines https://www.acr.org/...IRClin-Prac-Mgmt. The required number of hours to be on site is 2,080 (1.0 FTE). The estimated period of performance is one base year plus four one-year option periods. Offerors will be required to submit documentation for each candidate as described in the forthcoming solicitation s Addendum to FAR 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors. When published, this acquisition will be solicited as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This acquisition is set aside for small business concerns. The NAICS code for this procurement is 621111 Offices of Physicians (except Mental Health Specialists), with a small business size standard of $16M. Offerors or quoters are required to have an active Federal Government contracts registration in SAM when they submit an offer or quotation, and at the time of award (ref. RFO FAR 4.203-1(b)).
