Christopher Baker Christopher.Baker@noaa.gov FIRM FIXED PRICE CLIN 0001 – BASE PoP Crane, operator, and appropriate rigging capable of lifting a 19,000 lbs dive chamber off the back deck of the ship, and placing it onto a “low boy” flatbed truck on the pier. ¿ Chamber is a 20’ high cube with standard corner castings at all corners. It also has fork pockets at the bottom of the container. ¿ With the pivot of crane 16.5 ft from pier edge, a 50ft radius is required to lift the chamber. Must be able to lift the chamber 20 feet above the pier to clear obstacles on the ship. ¿ OPTION 1: “Low Boy” Flatbed truck and Driver capable of transporting the dive chamber from Kilo Pier to the Boat Yard at the NOAA Daniel K. Inouye Regional Center on Ford Island. ¿ OPTION 2: Heavy Duty, High Capacity forklift and Operator capable of lifting 19,000 lbs dive chamber off of the flatbed truck at the IRC Boat Yard, and placing it onto the deck in its designated spot. REQUIREMENTS AND SCHEDULE: DATE: 04 September 2026 ¿ Ship will depart the papa hotel buoy at 0800, arrive at Kilo pier 10 at 0900. ¿ Ship ties up at 0900, sets up gangway, removes small boat and cradle from chamber, relocates cradle out of the way to elsewhere on the ship. ¿ Crane arrives at 0900 - 0930, begins to set up. Crane should be ready to rig no later than 1030 ¿ This gives Sette ample time to move the small boats onto the trailers on the pier and the cradle off of the chamber and make preparations.
