No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this sources-sought notice or any follow-up information requests. The purpose of this synopsis is to gain knowledge of interest, capabilities, and qualifications of various members of the Small Business, including 8(a), HUBZone, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), Women-Owned Small Business (WOSB), and Economically Disadvantaged Women-Owned Small Business (EDWOSB), as well as Large Businesses , to compete and perform services under a contract. Project Requirement The firm must be capable of furnishing all labor, supervision, tools, materials, equipment, and transportation to perform Levee Safety Architect-Engineer (A-E) Services primarily within the South Pacific Division (SPD) for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Los Angeles District. The work consists of professional A-E services required for performing inspections of flood risk management projects including channels, debris basins, and dams, performing levee safety Formal Inspections (FIs), and providing required input for comprehensive Risk Assessments. The contractor will be responsible for planning, preparing, and conducting formal engineering inspections of levee systems, floodwalls, pump stations, and associated structures. Subcontracting limitations prescribed in RFO FAR 19.104-3(c) and RFO FAR clause 52.219-14 (Limitations on Subcontracting) shall be followed. Firms must demonstrate their ability to comply with the requirement that they will not pay more than 50 percent of the amount paid by the Government for contract performance to subcontractors that are not similarly situated entities.
