Both instruments are owned and operated by the Buffalo VAMC Pathology and Laboratory Medicine department. The Genexus instrument utilizes the Oncomine Precision Assay which enables simultaneous detection of biomarkers across 50 genes, including key targets within EGFR, BRAF, KRAS, ALK, ROS1, NTRK, RET, HER2, and others, from solid tissue samples. Genomic profiling of tumors from cancer patients facilitates molecular-guided therapy.
