The highly specialized system requires compatible transducers to produce diagnostic quality images and perform specialized procedures. The probes integrate with the system s hardware, software, imaging modes and clinical applications to provide high-resolution ultrasound imaging required for the guided procedures. Alternate manufacturer transducers cannot be utilized with the existing BK3000 system. Purchasing non-compatible or alternate brand probes could result in reduced image quality and loss of functionality. Manufacturer warranty also prohibits the use of alternate brand name probes/generic alternatives as both pieces of equipment have been FDA cleared as a combined system. The existing set and requested probes are peculiar to one manufacturer and necessary to purchase to ensure continued delivery of safe and effective patient care. 4.
