Introduction The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service is conducting market research to determine whether there are qualified sources capable of providing comprehensive maintenance and service support for an Illumina MiSeq i100 Plus System (Serial Number SH00902) located at the Whitney Genetics Laboratory in Onalaska, Wisconsin. The results of this market research will assist the Government in determining the appropriate acquisition strategy. 2. Requirement Overview The contractor shall provide a comprehensive maintenance and service agreement for the Illumina MiSeq i100 Plus System that includes, at a minimum: - All replacement parts - Labor - Travel costs - Reagent replacement required as a result of hardware failures - One (1) annual preventative maintenance service - Remote technical support (5x18) - Two (2) business day on-site response time - Control software updates and upgrades - Hardware updates and upgrades - Applications support All preventative maintenance services shall be performed in accordance with OEM-recommended procedures and documentation requirements. All maintenance and repair services must be performed by technicians who are trained and authorized to service the Illumina MiSeq i100 Plus System. 3. CAPABILITY REQUIREMENTS Interested parties shall demonstrate their capability to provide all required services identified above and address the following: a. Experience maintaining and servicing Illumina MiSeq i100 Plus Systems. b. Ability to provide OEM-trained and authorized service personnel for the Illumina MiSeq i100 Plus System. c. Ability to provide OEM software updates, firmware updates, hardware updates, and technical support. d. Ability to provide replacement parts and reagents necessary to restore the instrument to full operating condition following hardware failures. e. Ability to meet the required preventative maintenance and response time requirements. f. Description of the firm's relationship, if any, with Illumina, including distributor, reseller, service partner, or other authorized service arrangement. 4.
