Description
The U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) has a requirement for a sole source Purchase Order with Campbell Scientific for datalogger systems. The period of performance of the resulting award will be 60 days after award. USGS-Department of State Landslide Disaster Assistance Team (LDAT) plans to purchase data loggers and accessories required to maintain data collection at landslide monitoring sites. To ensure continuity of operations and establish new landslide monitoring sites, LDAT is purchasing common accessories and replacement parts that are most likely needed to ensure that parts are readily available for prompt donation and installation on an as needed basis. Therefore, it intends to make a direct award to Campbell Scientific on a sole source basis under the authority of FAR Overhaul (RFO) 12.102(a). This is not a request for competitive quotations or proposals but rather an intent to award sole source notification.
