The Naval Medical Research Unit Dayton (NAMRU-Dayton) has a requirement for the procurement of one (1) LNI Swissgas NGA CASTORE XL 40.40 Membrane Nitrogen Generator (Part Number: 6920.70.41) to support analytical testing operations in the laboratory. This equipment provides a continuous, high-purity nitrogen gas stream, which is critical for the operation of laboratory analytical instruments, specifically Liquid Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry (LC-MS) systems. b. This generator utilizes specialized membrane technology to separate nitrogen from compressed air. It must deliver a flow rate and purity profile that match the exact requirements of the command's existing mass spectrometers.
