The system consists of a next-generation Distributed Control System (DCS/NDCS) utilizing a Controller Area Network (CAN) bus architecture. It functions as an active Total Ride Control System (TRCS) that continuously modulates the vessel's existing canard and stabilizer fins using precision electro-hydraulic servo valves and closed-loop digital feedback. This upgrade replaces obsolete RCS electronics to mitigate pitch, roll, and heave accelerations, directly reducing operator fatigue and motion sickness while maintaining critical ship stabilization.
