Vendors must specifically address the following capabilities: • Cross dock warehouse services and operations experience, *note , such services are not a freight forwarding requirement or operation. • Provide copies of current licenses, permits, and real property documentation for current or proposed warehouse operations. • Knowledge of and compliance with federal and local labor laws including the service contract act, and fair labor standards act. • Ability to provide unloading & receiving services using on-hand materials handling equipment for freight of all kinds with unit weights of up to five tons and unit volumes up to 1,500 cubic feet. • Ability to provide unloading & receiving services with 24 hours' notice for freight of all kinds and sizes (including small packages and full pallet size) with unit weight potential of up to 30 tons and unit volumes up to 3,000 cubic feet. • Ability to provide warehouse services, facility, and equipment for handling freight up to a maximum volume of 40,000 cubic feet, and with a minimum Department of State dedicated warehouse floor space of 20,000 square feet, and racking.
